Hua Hin is turning into a mecca for skaters and music lovers alike. In December, the town will be home to an old-school jam session that pits skateboarders against surf riders in tests of skillful carving skills or risky angles onto sandbars!
"One thing making this competition unique," say organizers "is how it breaks down into two categories--groms (youth)and open." Hua Hin based DJs Murfy Lee & Vintega have been enlisted to spin and jam during the event that takes place on the 10pth of December at Pineapple Surf Club near Khao Takiap.
In addition to the competition, visitors can also take a surfing lesson or join a surf workshop at the Pineapple Surf Club on Khao Takiab Beach for the duration of the event.
Old-School Jam, which is on a long weekend holiday, will be an opportunity to get visit Hua Hin over the weekend for skating and surfing at the beach, and there is no entry fee.
