Santorini Park Hua Hin

Thailand is a country full of surprises. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene beaches of Krabi, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And buried deep within Thailand's rich tapestry is a hidden gem known as Santorini Park.

Santorini Park is a European-themed amusement park located in Hua Hin, a small city on the country's gulf coast. The park is relatively new, having opened in 2013 Santorini Park is almost 10 years old, but it has become one of the most popular tourist attractions for families visiting the area. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of activities, from shopping at the park's marketplace to riding on the Ferris wheel to taking a dip in the pool at the adjacent waterpark. There really is something for everyone at Santorini Park.

But what makes Santorini Park truly unique is its theming. The park is designed to look like a miniature version of Santorini, Greece, complete with its own replica of the world-famous Blue Dome church. Walking through the park feels like stepping into another world, which is exactly what the creators intended. It's an escape from reality, and it's an experience that you won't soon forget.

How to get to Santorini Park?

Whether you're coming from Bangkok or Krabi, getting to Santorini Park is easy. The park is located just off Highway 4, and there are signs pointing the way from both directions. If you're coming from Bangkok, the drive will take about three hours; if you're coming from Krabi, it will take about two hours. Either way, it's a relatively short drive for such a unique and memorable experience.

When to go to Santorini Park?

Santorini Park is open every day from 9:00am to 9:00pm. However, I would recommend going during the week if possible because weekends can be quite crowded. Weekdays tend to be much more relaxed, and you'll be able to enjoy all of the park's activities without having to elbow your way through throngs of people. Trust me, it's worth it!

What to do at Santorini Park?

There are so many things to do at Santorini Park that it's impossible to list them all here. But some of my personal favorites include shopping at the marketplace (you can find everything from souvenirs to clothing to food), riding on the Ferris wheel (it has some of the best views in Hua Hin), and taking a dip in the pool (it's refreshing after spending a few hours walking around in the heat). Of course, your mileage may vary; feel free to explore and find your own favorite activities!

The Atmosphere is Unbeatable

As soon as you step into Santorini Park, you'll feel like you've been transported to the Mediterranean. The whole park is modeled after the world-famous Santorini island in Greece, complete with a stunning white and blue color scheme. You'll find plenty of photo opportunities here, so make sure to bring your camera!

There's Something for Everyone

Whether you're traveling with young kids or seniors, Santorini Park has something for everyone. There's a quaint little train that runs around the perimeter of the park, a merry-go-round for the kids, and even a parkour course for the more adventurous types. And of course, let's not forget the food! There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from, so you'll never go hungry.

Santorini Park is Incredibly Affordable

Santorini Park is surprisingly affordable, especially considering how much there is to do here. A one-day pass will only set you back THB250 (about USD8), which I think is more than worth it. You can also buy a season pass if you're planning on spending more time in Hua Hin.

Conclusion

Overall, we had an amazing time at Santorini Park and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique place to visit in Thailand. Whether you're traveling solo or with family and friends, there's something here for everyone to enjoy. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out for yourself!
