Gusty weather, rain mostly in the South

It also asks boat operators in the Gulf of Thailand to take care and avoid thundery areas. If you plan to swim, read our note on beach debris and swimming advice first.
Beachfront talks break down

Waste fee rises on 17 November
Household rubbish collection in Hua Hin Municipality goes from ฿10 to ฿50 a month on 17 November. Businesses pay more for waste above 120 kg a month, and people who sort get a 50 percent discount on disposal fees. The details are in our explainer.
Deepavali at Market Village on 7 November
Market Village Hua Hin hosts its third Deepavali Festival on Saturday 7 November, with the ceremony starting at 4pm on the third-floor event space, according to a press release carried by Newswit. The programme includes worship of a statue of Lakshmi that organisers describe as more than 800 years old. It also lists a fire-offering ritual, lamp lighting, blessings from a Hindu priest and a children’s “Little Lakshmi” contest with more than ฿100,000 in prizes. A separate Diwali Celebration is listed for 14 November at Sivana Gardens in Khao Tao; see the events calendar.
